Never even realized this place existed. I was invited to come in and give a presentation to a group of business owners here over lunch. Because of this, I didn't have your typical restaurant experience, but they still did a great job. I arrived early and checked out the space as well as queued up my presentation to make sure there weren't going to be any technical errors. The space was decorated beautifully. They had round conference tables with white linens for everyone to sit and the doors could be closed to block out any noise from the restaurant and give a little bit of privacy. Once I was set up, I ran over to the buffet to see what was for lunch. For starters, they had a small salad bar with plenty of fresh toppings and dressings available. For sides they offered green beans and mac n cheese. Both were fine... nothing crazy. For entree's they had a couple options. The first of which was chicken breasts that looked delicious, but there was no way I was about to devour a small bird just before getting up in front of the group. I opted for the lasagna instead. I didn't realize at first, but it was the vegetarian option, which would I normally would have been bummed out about. Not this time though. I believe it was either a zucchini or eggplant lasagna and it was fantastic. I gladly would have gone for seconds on that, but they wanted me to speak instead... dang. Now that this place is on my radar I look forward to stopping in for lunch sometime soon!

I have to write this review from a unique point of view. This facility was used as part of a tour with my son's school group. It was not a wedding banquet as another site had reviewed nor was it the normal individual meal restaurant as all reviews have on Yelp. I have to say that this restaurant was wholly unprepared to serve our students for this pre booked event The food was not appetizing and the limited staff was not ready with plates, place settings, drinks or food. It seems they are trying to break into the tour/school group arena and they have failed. I would not recommend using this as your tour groups dinner option. Go for the chain buffets which are much capable of serving your group.

I went to Harbor Breeze for the first time at lunch today. It was pretty good, and I'd definitely return. It's very convenient to Charleston and Mt. Pleasant, and also close to the bridge and Patriot's Point. Also, they have a parking lot, which is an excellent thing in Charleston :). For lunch, I had the Simple Salad with added grilled shrimp and raspberry vinaigrette. The dressing was a bit thick, so I definitely didn't use the whole cup- I maybe used half of it. It was good dressing, and at least I didn't have to ask for more like I have at some restaurants! I debated between that and the veggie burger, but chose the salad (healthy eating problems!). If I go back, I'd opt to try the veggie burger, as it's a homemade patty from black eyed peas. I think it's awesome they have a veggie burger- there's not a ton of options on the lunch menu but I'm glad there is a vegetarian one. The portions of the burgers and sandwiches are pretty good for the money. The salad, for $3, is pretty much a steal but $5 to add shrimp or chicken. The shrimp were really good though, I think there were 6 shrimp on the salad. The decor of the restaurant is great- they have art and paintings, all of which are for sale. There's also a private room, and I'm guessing you can reserve it or they rent it out, so if you need somewhere with a large private room and a good menu, this is a great option for you. I was actually here for a networking event, so that's where we sat.

Went on a bad day I guess. The reviews were great and the pictures looked amazing but its not what expected.

Our 40 person tour group had reservations for dinner here. From the outside, I did not expect much, but when we walked in, the place was very clean and tastefully decorated. More important, they were prepared and ready for us, with all tables set up and adequate servers available. The buffet was excellent, with some of the best food I have tasted in Charleston. There were four main course choices on the buffet, chicken breast, roast beef, breaded shrimp, and ham. There was an assortment of vegetables, and the yellow squash was absolutely delicious, as was all the food. The oven baked potatoes and baked macaroni were great. They also set out a huge chef's salad for us and a selection of desserts. The carrot cake was moist and the best I ever tasted, same for the peach cobbler. The manager came to each table to make sure we were all pleased with the dinner, and he encouraged us to go back for more of everything. What a great place. I highly recommend it.

This review is based on my first visit, and the food. My last two visits have been pretty bad experiences (food was still good-the waitress was horrible) Such a huge improvement over what was there. It's nice and clean, no smells. I have had the all American burger and it was great...too big, but a really good burger; the grilled chicken sandwich which was really good; and the fried chicken sandwich-also really good. The red rice is great, and the fries are done well. The last two times we went the service was the worst I have ever experienced. Friday the waitress forgot to put our order in...so we waited an hour. During the wait she came over once and said "oh I don't know what happened...I put your order in" The manager comes over and tells us the meal is on the house. When the food FINALLY arrives its not even the correct order. The odd thing was that every other table that had different waiters was perfectly served. We return on Saturday (we were working at a home show in the auditorium all weekend). After hearing the service was so much better we weren't expecting a repeat of Friday. We get the same waitress...HUGE mistake. Sit down giver her our order...table next to us orders quite a bit after we do. Their food comes out at least 10 minutes before ours. We get our food and ask for a side of mayo, and refill our waters. At least five minutes later the manager comes over to ask how the food is...we tell him we have been waiting forever for some mayo. The waitress is basically staring at the wall wondering what it is. If you go to harbor breeze...which you should because the food is good...watch out. If your waitress has straight dark hair and glasses RUN!!!

Even though it's a fairly new restaurant they had great food and wonderful service. The decor is deff unique, classy, and elegant. And the food looked great and tasted phenomenal! The skirt steak was my favorite dish that I have had so far and I will defiantly be back for more.

The location is not that great but the decor of the inside makes up for it. A colleague and I went there for lunch. I, wanting to test the basics, ordered a hamburger. The bartender told us that the burgers come in two 4 oz. patties instead a big, messy handmade patty. I laughed. To me, that meant they were probably some frozen, pre-packaged patty. The bar decor is really nice but the TVs are ridiculously high. When you look at them, sitting at the bar, you have to stair up 12 to 15 feet in the air and then you get blinded by the lights. When the burger came is was so-so. My colleague got the loaded burger and said it was good. I really should have gotten the fish tacos or grilled chicken but, again, I wanted to test the basics. I will be back to try another lunch and order something other than the hamburger. I was curious about the happy hour crowd as I work down the street. It looks like it could be a great happy hour place, if they do some drinks specials and appetizer specials.

Huge improvement and great remodel from the dark smokey place it used to be. Had a Mahi sandwich for lunch with some of the best red rice I've ever eaten. Great prices to boot. We will definitely be back.

Decided to stop by and watch a little college football. Two drinks, double Jack and Coke, $32. You can decide.
